Club Atletico Independiente is an Argentine athletic, sports and social club, which has its headquarters and stadium in the city of Avellaneda, Buenos Aires Province. The club is best known for its soccer team that plays in the Argentine Primera Division. Nicknamed el rojo (the red), or los Diablos Rojos de Avellaneda (Avellaneda’s Red Devils) the club presented its new home and away soccer jerseys for the 2012/13 season made by Puma.
The new home soccer jersey keeps its traditional vibrant red color with white details on it. On the front side of the shirt is the Motomel sponsor that runs across the middle of it in white bold letters. On the top right is the white puma logo while on the opposite the club’s badge. It has a white with red lines buttoned neck, while on the back of it a devil sort of image. There are no details on its shoulders, followed by red sleeves with the white Puma cat logo on either side.
On the other hand, the new away soccer jersey is mostly white with navy blue details on it. Motomel, club’s sponsor, runs across the middle of it in navy blue letters. On the top right is the blue puma cat logo while on the opposite the club’s badge in an older version of it. On the sides a blue band can be seen that start at the armpit area all the way to the bottom. It has a navy blue cut in “v” collar neck. There are no details on its shoulders, followed by white sleeves with blue hems.
