Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, or simply Corinthians which is the second most popular team in Brazil in number of supporters, presented its new third soccer jersey made by the giant sportswear company Nike for the 2011/12 season. The new shirt was premiered this past Sunday against Coritiba in the second round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A where the Paulista team won 2-1.
The new third soccer jersey has a very unique and stylish design accompanied with a maroon background color that has white details on it. It has a rounded neck where on the back has 1949 printed (a tribute to the Torino team that won the 1943, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 Italian Serie A titles before perishing on a plane crash on May 4th, 1949).On its shoulders all they to its sleeves another sponsor was placed, bozzano (Men’s Healthcare), in white letters.
