Cork City Football Club (Irish: Cumann Peile Chathair Chorcaí) is an Irish soccer team that plays in the League of Ireland Premier Division. It was one of the first clubs in Ireland (and the first in Cork) to field a team of professional footballers. The club which is nicknamed “Rebel Army,” “The Leesiders” was founded back in 1984. They are the current 2011 League of Ireland First Division champions, and over the course of this week they have presented its new home and away soccer jerseys for the 2012/13 season made by Umbro.
The new home soccer jersey is mostly green with white and red details on it. The front side is characterized by having a bi-color chevron (White, Red) with the black Umbro logo on its left side while the club’s badge on its opposite. The Clonakilty black pudding, sponsor was placed on its center. It has a green round collar neck. There are no details on its shoulders and followed by green sleeves with no hems.
On the other hand the away soccer jersey keeps home same design and template. In this case the shirt has a red background with white and green details on it.
