Based on the classic Tango design used during both the FIFA World Cup™ and UEFA EURO™ tournaments during the early 1980s, the adidas Tango 12 Finale features a modern interpretation of the design including bespoke graphics designed to represent the two host countries and link to the key characteristics of football – unity, rivalry and passion.

The adidas Tango 12 Finale, which has been developed over a two-year period, underwent two rigorous types of testing – qualitative player testing, which was conducted across eight different countries, using players, federations and clubs from both elite and grass roots football, and quantitative lab testing, which concluded that the adidas Tango 12 Finale meets and exceeds all FIFA Approved Standards for an Official Match Ball making it the most tested ball adidas has ever produced.

With a month until the tournament begins, the reveal of the new adidas Tango 12 Finale official match ball to fan’s across the world also marks the launch of the adidas “Road to the Final” – a campaign designed to give consumers across Europe the chance to win a line-up of UEFA Euro 2012 prizes, including official match tickets.

The “Road to the Final” campaign will see the ball complete a virtual tour through every country competing in the tournament over the course of the next month on its way to Poland and finally the Ukraine. At each stop an adidas sport star will post a picture of themselves with the ball on the official adidas Facebook page and Twitter feed, with every “like” or re-tweet from fans automatically entering them into a draw to win a line-up of UEFA Euro 2012 prizes.

Alongside winning different prizes, each selected winner will then be sent a replica of the Tango 12 Finale and will be asked to post a picture of themselves with the ball at a famous landmark to show off their success.

The new home soccer keeps its traditional red color with white details on it. On the front side of the shirt the AFAS Software runs across the middle of it in white bold letters. The white macron logo is on the top right while on the opposite the club’s badge. It has a red cut in “v” polo neck with its sides being red. Long known for the attractive style and flair of their players, the LA Galaxy are giving fans a once in a lifetime chance to make those players look as stylish as they can by designing the club’s new 3rd uniform. Through an exciting and first-of-its-kind Facebook application, Galaxy, along with Herbalife and adidas are allowing fans to decide what the club’s 3rd kit will look like for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

Fans will have the opportunity to design every element of the 3rd kit, from the jersey to the shorts and socks.  When designing their uniform fans will navigate through 16 jersey touch points, various collar options and the creation of a custom jock tag, which is the designer’s opportunity to show support for the Galaxy in their own words. They will have more than 32 color schemes to use throughout the process as they custom create every aspect of the Galaxy uniform. Additionally, fans will be able to post their designs to Facebook, allowing them to display their designs while also seeing those of their friends.

The contest is already underway and all eligible entries that are submitted before 11:59 a.m. (PT) on Friday, June 1 will be accepted. On June 8, a judging committee consisting of members from the Galaxy, Herbalife and adidas will select the contest’s five finalists. Those five entries will then be voted on online by Galaxy fans from around the world at www.lagalaxy.com/3rdkitcontest. Fan voting will run from June 8-June 22 with the winner being announced on August 1.

The contest winner will not only see their design come to life in the form of the 3rd kit that the club will wear starting in July 2013 and throughout the 2014 season, but will also receive a trip for two to see the Galaxy play in the new uniform in July 2013, including roundtrip airfare, a two-night stay at the JW Marriott at LA Live and field side seats to the game as well as a number of other prizes.

The remaining four finalists will each receive one of the new jerseys, once they are created, signed by members of the 2013 Galaxy roster.

In July 2011, the Galaxy debuted their first 3rd kit since the club rebranded in July 2007, wearing a Punjab and Light Old Gold uniform that was worn for their annual Fourth of July game as well as friendlies against Real Madrid and Manchester City. The club will wear those uniforms again this year in all three legs of the SuperClasico against Chivas USA and their upcoming friendly against Tottenham Hotspur before being retired following the completion of the season.

After a season which put Swansea City firmly back on the global football map, the club will celebrate its centenary year in the best league in the world.

The new away soccer jersey has a maroon background color with black and white details on it. On the front side of the shirt the Virgin money sponsor can be seen at its center. Home Soccer Jersey 2012/13

BORO’S new adidas home shirt sees the return of the white chestband that has become such a popular feature with supporters over the years – and a long-sleeved version is now in stock.

The chestband has become something of a trademark since it was first worn by Jack Charlton’s Second Division champions in 1974 and reappears for the first time since 2008-09.

Next season’s shirt, which includes the three white adidas stripes on the sleeves, will be paired with red shorts with a white trim and red socks.

The away kit features a shirt in striking sky blue and navy, with navy shorts and sky-blue socks.

Two goalkeeper kits will be introduced next season. The first is in a fluorescent orange/pink design described by adidas as “warning”, the second is turquoise, described as “super cyan”.

Both feature half-black sleeves with white stripes and matching socks.

Many of the products use innovative Climacool or Climawarm technologies, which work together to regulate the athlete’s body temperature better than any single fabric can.

This is the new Ajax away soccer jersey 12/13, the away strip that Dutch giants Ajax, the former club of Premier League stars like Thomas Vermaelen ( Arsenal) and Luis Suarez ( Liverpool) will be wearing for their travels during the 2012/13 Eredivisie season. The new Ajax away soccer jersey 2012/2013 has been made by Adidas and was first worn by Ajax in their game against FC Twente on April 29, 2012.

Ajax will play 2012-2013 away matches in dark blue and fluorescent green attire. Three stars are embroidered above the Ajax logo.

Arsenal Football Club has long been the benchmark for innovation and change. It was Herbert Chapman – the club’s manager from 1925 to 1934 – who championed the use of floodlights, numbered shirts and white footballs in the modern game. And Nike, official kit supplier and leaders in design and innovation, has unveiled a home kit that pays tribute to club heritage whilst offering players and fans a modern and stylish new uniform.

The shirt boasts the traditional red block body with white sleeves but fans will find a new twist to the kit; a blue (obsidian) hoop detail on the collar, sleeves and socks.

Blue (obsidian) has long been used as a third colour on Arsenal’s shirts throughout their illustrious history and features in the Arsenal crest; and it’s inclusion in the kit for the 2012-13 season nods to that past but gives it a fresh, bold look.

Heritage details include an inner neck graphic which reads; “Victoria Concordia Crescit (the club’s latin logo meaning victory through harmony). The outer neck graphic is a nod to Chapman’s famous ‘WM formation’ that galvanised and shaped the modern game.

As is traditional, the new shorts are white but with a WM formation on the side, and ‘Arsenal’ in the back of the waistband.  The home kit socks are white with red and blue (obsidian) hoop detail.

Whilst the kit combines modern sport and youth style to give the club an iconic new look, Nike’s innovation gives the team our most technologically advanced kit to aid athlete comfort and performance. 

The new home kit is made from Nike’s ground-breaking recycled polyester, making it Nike’s most environmentally friendly kit ever produced.  Each kit (shirt and shorts) is made using up to thirteen recycled plastic water bottles.  This innovative manufacturing process reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to manufacturing traditional polyester. Since 2010 Nike has used an estimated 1115 million recycled plastic bottles to create its high performance kits.

The kits are made out of 23% lighter fabric with 20% stronger knit structure than Nike’s previous kits and feature Nike Dri-FIT technology to wick moisture away from athletes to help keep them cool and dry on-pitch.

Kits have bonded re-enforced t-bar junctions that support critical seams on the shirt and shorts and inner welded seams with a flat finish construction to improve comfort and performance.  Temperature regulation is helped by ventilation zones, consisting of a series of tiny laser cut holes from the under arms to the waistband, allowing air to circulate to keep players comfortable.

Nike Pro Combat base-layers are used by athletes to compliment playing kits to further improve comfort and increase protection from injury. Whilst fans and players can enjoy the Nike’s Arsenal Sportswear collection off the pitch, inspired by the club’s heritage.

The shirt, in royal blue with a white collar and eye-catching red maple leaf crest, has been tailored by Umbro to celebrate this important anniversary in the CSA’s history. The shirt, and the accompanying Anthem jacket also crafted by Umbro, will be seen on the field as Canada recreates that iconic first game with a friendly against the United States on June 3rd in Toronto. We’re sure they’d be happy with the same scoreline as that first match 100 years ago as well! The game is the final warm-up before both Canada and the USA resume their World Cup qualification games, so it’s sure to be an important fixture for both teams.
