The current champions of the Campeonato Brasilero (Brazilian Championship) presented its new home and away kits made by Adidas for the coming 2011/12 season. The Tricolor organized a fashion show event in Teresopolis (Brazilian municipality located in the state of Rio de Janeiro) where photo shoots were taken that had as its main protagonists its current soccer players.
The new home soccer jersey maintains its traditional look with a red background with white and green vertical stripes. The shirt is sponsored by Unimed (Brazilian medical work cooperative and health plan operator) which runs across the middle of the shirt in green letters and a white background. It has a white edged v-neck collar, next to it the Adidas stripes that were placed on its shoulders all the way to the end of the sleeves. On the top right we see the added the detail of the CBF (Brazilian Football Federation) badge that represents its current national title, on the opposite its club’s badge, and the white Adidas logo in between.
On the other side, the away soccer jersey has a white background with maroon and green details. The shirt keeps its main sponsor in green letters on the front side of its sleeves and shirt. It has a v-neck white polo neck, with the white Adidas stripes on its bi-color shoulders (red right, and green left). The Adidas logo is on the right side in a maroon color while on the opposite the club’s badge and in between the CBF.
