The Honduran national football team, nicknamed Los Catrachos, La Bicolor or La H, is the national team of Honduras and is controlled by the Federación Nacional Autónoma de Fútbol de Honduras (FENAFUTH). Over the course of this week, the team which is currently managed by Luis Fernando Suarez, and ranked 62 by FIFA presented its new home and away soccer jerseys for the 2012/13 season made by the Spanish sports clothing manufacturer Joma.
The new home soccer jersey has a very clean design, characterized by having a white background color with blue vertical pinstripes. On top right is the black Joma logo while on the opposite the H letter in reference to Honduras’ nickname. It has a white polo neck with blue on its sides and front. The shoulders have a blue horizontal line, followed by white with blue pinstripes sleeves, and no hems.
On the other hand, the away soccer jersey is more detailed. The new alternative shirt has a navy blue background color with white and grey details on it. On the front side Honduras 5 blue stars can be seen enclosed by grey lines, and a white background. Below, blue and white vertical bands were placed . The white Joma logo is on the top right while on the opposite Honduras national badge. It has a white round collar neck with touches of blue on its sides. There are no details on its shoulders, followed by same color shirt with no hems.
