Club Atletico Peñarol current 2011 Copa Libertadores runner-ups, and one of the most popular clubs in Uruguay sometimes referred as los “manyas” or Carboneros presented its 2011 commemorative soccer jersey made by Puma in homage of 120th centenary.
The new soccer jersey will be premiered today when “los aurinegros” now managed by Gregorio Perez confront San Lorenzo de Almagro (Argentina) on a friendly match held in the Centenario Stadium (Montevideo). The shirt’s design was inspired in the one worn in the periods of 1901 and 1908. It has four quadrants (back and front) in black and yellow colors. The black Puma logo is on the top right while on the opposite the club’s badge. It has a buttoned black polo neck, no details on its shoulders and yellow sleeves with no hems.
