As the team continue their qualification fixtures for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the Republic Of Ireland have revealed their new 2012 home shirt, tailored by Umbro. The new football shirt, which goes on sale next Friday October 5th, will be worn for the first time in the big game against Germany at the Aviva Stadium on October 12th.
The new Republic Of Ireland home shirt combines a classic look with modern technology, with a green marl effect performance material used for the main body of the shirt, it also features front body darts to offer fans and players an extra level of smartness. A tonal striped rib collar adds an extra design touch to proceedings, while mesh underarm panels increase breathability.
Crafted in a smart ‘St Patrick’s Green’ colour, with the Eire crest and Umbro logo embroidered on the chest and the sponsors logo printed below, the new shirt also features a subtle white trim on each arm for an extra layer of smartness.
