After the release of its new 2011 kits for the “Copa Libertadores,” one of the most successful club in Brazilian soccer presented its new home and away soccer jerseys for the 2011/12 season made by Umbro.
The new kits were presented past Sunday with a win of the “Paulista” team over Avai by 3-1 at the Vila Belmiro Stadium (Santos, Brazil). The new kits will be worn for rest of the “Campeonato Brasileiro” and the 2011 “Copa do Brasil.” Santos will keep wearing its current “Copa Libertadores” 2011 kit since they made it to the finals and they will have now to play against Peñarol (Montevideo, Uruguay) on June 15th and 22nd.
The new home soccer jersey is all white, a color that symbolizes peace, with black details on it. The shirt is sponsored by Banco BMG that runs across the middle of the shirt in orange letters with black with black edges. The black Umbro logo is on the top right while on the opposite the club’s badge. It has sort of “v” neck collar very close to the neck where its front side is black. On the sides of its plain white sleeves Netshoes (Sponsor) was placed in black letters.
On the other hand, the away soccer jersey has black and white stripes with gold lines in between. Banco BMG runs across the middle of the shirt, but in this case with white edges. On the top right we see the black Umbro logo while on the opposite the club’s badge. It has a cut in “v” neck collar where its front side is black and its sides white. It shoulders are black and so are its sleeves that have white edges and its other sponsor Netshoes in white letters.
