As they look forward to the resumption of their vital 2014 qualification fixtures, the Republic Of Ireland have unveiled their new black away shirt. Inspired by the influx of new young players into the squad, the new Eire shirt celebrates 'a new dawn' for the national team and their aspirations. Currently third in a tight qualification group, the Republic face a double header against Sweden and Austria later this month that will have a significant bearing on their chances of making it to Brazil next summer.
The Republic of Ireland national soccer team represents Ireland in association soccer. It is run by the Football Association of Ireland (FAI), and plays home fixtures at Aviva Stadium in Dublin which opened in May 2010.
