Tigres de la Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, often known only as Tigres or UANL is one of the two professional soccer teams of the state of NuevoLeon in Mexico. They won the 2011 Clausura League, and lost in quarterfinals for the playoffs. Last Saturday they have presented its new away soccer jersey for the 2011-12 season made by adidas, and premiered on Sunday on a match with a victory over Pumas by 4-0.
The new away soccer jersey is mostly blue with yellow details on it. The front side of the shirt is characterized by a yellow horizontal band that runs across of it and on its sides at the chest level, inside U.A.N.L acronym was placed in blue letters, below it Cemex (Cement) in blue letters with white edges. On the top right side Monterrey’s logo (capital city of NuevoLeon) while on the opposite the club’s badge, the yellow adidas logo is in between the two. It has a very typical adidas neck where its sides are blue and its front and back yellow with the added detail Tigres on the back of it. The adidas stripes were placed on its shoulders all the way to half of its plain blue sleeves.
