Tranmere Rovers and Fila have today revealed the new 2012-2013 home kit and training-wear range as produced by Fila. There will also be a new away kit launching in August.
Fila, established in 1911, have an Italian heritage few can dispute. They have maintained a reputation of producing the finest sporting goods producing kits for the likes of the Italian & Scottish National Teams. Fans can be rest assured that this will continue as the club joins a number of other Football League teams sporting the Fila brand including Blackpool, Notts County and AFC Bournemouth.
Tranmere Rovers Chief Executive, Mick Horton said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the club to have such a recognised brand as Fila as our manufacturer. We feel the kits Fila have produced are of the finest quality. It is a long and detailed process we have been going through to get to the final designs and the opportunity for bespoke kits is of big importance to the club. We are very excited for the launch and know the fans will be delighted with the new kits.”
Guy Walker, JD Sports Head of Football, added: “Fila has many years of football heritage and we are delighted to have Tranmere Rovers representing the brand for the 2012-2013 season. The home kit has been specifically designed for the club and we look forward to seeing the players and fans wearing them with pride.”
